What are you growing this year, and how are you planting? Since we can’t all come together for in person events, we want to encourage everyone to share what you’re doing.
The Grower Challenge prizes include planting sticks, cooking paddles, and elm bark baskets for the best entries that will be evaluated on 1) overall quality, 2) educational information that can help other growers, and 3) innovative approaches to planting and addressing common farming and gardening problems. All growers, whether farmers or gardeners, are welcome and encouraged to enter.
Enter this contest by 1) posting your video, pictures, and stories to social media with the hashtag #intertribalfoodsummit and 2) send an email to dan@IndianAg.org with the subject heading “Grower Challenge” and also include your Tribe.
Winners will be featured as part of the Virtual Intertribal Food Summit. Check back for additional challenges for ranchers and harvesters in the next few days.
