“As land stewards responsible for feeding communities, we rely heavily on our livestock animals. We’re asking our Native livestock producers across the country to share a 2-3 minute video featuring their operation.
Share your insight to some of the following:
1) How have your livestock been able to help you in land stewardship?
2) What’s been the most innovative approach or recent shift in your management to promote soil health? How has it helped?
3) What are three priorities that you look for when choosing reproduction livestock?
4) When you harvest your livestock, how do you help to feed your community? (Do you sell/distribute it locally? Is there a local butcher that you use? etc.)
