Intertribal Harvest Gathering

Registration is now open for the Intertribal Harvest Gathering that will be held September 24-26 at the Ho-Chunk Nation in the Wisconsin Dells in conjunction with the Great Lakes Intertribal Food Coalition, the Wisconsin Tribal Conservation Advisory Council, the University of Wisconsin, and other partners. An agroforestry pre-session visiting Savanna Institute is scheduled for September 23.

Scholarships are being accepted with priority for applications 1) received before August 21st, 2) for food producers currently or interested in participating in the Great Lakes Intertribal Food Coalition’s Tribal Elder Food Box Program and other community distribution efforts, and 3) those willing to volunteer during the event. Participants may reserve their own rooms with room block ‘Intertribal Harvest Gathering’. RV sites are also available at the hotel at a standard rate with no block. Rooms must be reserved by August 23 for room block rates to apply.

Camping

Camping for event participants is available at Neeshla PowWow Grounds near Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells. Porta potties and hand-washing stations provided. Camping tickets ($5 / night) are required and must be purchased through this page. Email agriculture@ho-chunk.com with questions.
